Originating from Japan, the practice of kokedama involves removing the root system from a living plant’s container, then surrounding it in a mud cake and wrapping securely with moss (the word “kokedama” means “moss balls”). 

The result is a striking, hanging sculptural garden that can be dangled or hung indoors or outdoors to enjoy!

Come make your own kokedama ball, including a stunning macrame hanger to hold and hang it. That’s right—during this workshop participants will also learn 4 basic macrame knots and make a macrame hanger for their kokedama balls.

Time: 4.00 hours

What to bring: Clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty. All other supplies included.
