Nuno Felting Workshop!

Nuno Felting Workshop!

105.00

Derived from the Japanese word "nuno" meaning cloth, felting is a fabric felting technique,

developed in Australia in 1992 by fiber artist Polly Stirling.

This wet felting technique bonds loose fibre, usually wool, into a sheer fabric such as silk gauze, creating a lightweight felt which can be made into wearable fashions and other items.

During this class we’re making beautiful scarves.

Nuno felting is not an inexpensive endeavor. The cost of this class reflects the materials and supplies, tools and equipment needed to make the scarf and instruction.
